Lockheed wins $9M South Korean support contract

Lockheed Martin has won a $9 million contract to support the South Korean Peace Krypton reconnaissance aircraft system.

The foreign military sales contract, awarded by the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, entails continuing engineering and logistics support for both aircraft and associated ground stations, Lockheed Martin said in a news release.

The Republic of Korea’s Peace Krypton system provides tactical intelligence via militarized business jets and data-processing ground stations.

Lockheed Martin has been supporting the Peace Krypton program since winning the initial system development contract in 1996.
