The Federal Communications Commission wants information technology upgrades, and is looking to spend $13.5 million to get them, according to FCW.

Forty percent of the FCC’s IT systems are more than 10 years old, and many of them lack vendor support, FCW reported.

The FCC will divide up the $13.5 million in the following ways, FCW reported: $9.2 million for IT modernization, $2 million for cybersecurity programs, and $1.3 million for improvements to the National Broadband Map.
