Carpathia has tapped three government marketplace veterans to lead its new Federal Advisory Council.
The trio, who possess extensive experience both inside and outside government, will provide guidance on current federal trends and develop strategies to apply Carpathia’s cloud operator platform to government organizations, the company said in a news release.
The council members are:
Ed Meagher, who has held CIO positions with the Department of the Interior and Department of Veterans Affairs
Tom Ragland, retired U.S. Army National Guard brigadier general and former Homeland Security Department operations director who has worked at Science Applications International Corp., QinetiQ and CACI International. He currently is with the Ambit Group
Patrick Schambach, who has held CIO positions with the U.S. Secret Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Transportation Security Administration. He also is a former executive with Computer Sciences Corp.
Carpathia plans to bolster the advisory council with two additional public sector technology leaders in the coming months, to best address the rising demand for cloud computing solutions in the federal government.
