The Veterans Affairs Department intends to award a five-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract this year for a broad range of general management and business support services.

Known as Agile Delivery of VA Imminent Strategic and Operational Requirements (ADVISOR), the IDIQ would be broken down into four service groups:

  • Oversight, such as program and project management and strategic planning
  • Improvement, including business process reengineering
  • Data and analysis, such as information and records management
  • Training

Companies would have to participate in at least two services areas to be considered.

The IDIQ is fully set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business and veteran-owned small business.

The ADVISOR contract would run from June 2014 to June 2019.

VA plans to release a request for proposals around January 29.
