Force 3 restructuring focuses on customers
As 2013 came to a close, Force 3 made a number of internal promotions as it restructured the company to focus on customers and improved offerings in the market.
As 2013 came to a close, Force 3 made six internal promotions, as it restructured the company to focus on its customers and the branding of the company's support services offerings.
The promotions were made for three reasons, said Force 3 president Mike Greaney, who was one of the six moved up.
The first reason is all about restructuring; the promotions were a way to “make sure that our structure was in keeping with this intense focus on customer success,” Greaney said.
“We’ve restructured our engineering teams and our sales leadership to accommodate that,” Greaney said.
The second reason was to ensure that the big decisions in the company were being made by the right people. With a focus on customer satisfaction, Force 3 wanted to ensure that decisions are being made from the people who are closest to the customer.
Finally, the restructuring allows Force 3 to emphasize the branding of Support Plus.
Force 3's Support Plus for Cisco provides customers with basic and optional Cisco SMARTnet features, as well as 24-hour-a-day access to support, license management and real-time diagnostics. Support Plus has a few different versions which are tailored to specific user needs, such as "Support+ SMB," which provides "to the desktop" IT support for companies and agencies with less than 500 employees.
The company offers solutions such as communications and collaboration, cybersecurity and medical image management, and partners with companies like Cisco, EMC, VMware, Apple, Citrix and NetApp. Force 3 currently holds a number of contract vehicles, including NetCents 2, GSA Schedule 70, SEWP IV, GSA MOBIS and ITES-2S.
Force 3 currently has 245 employees.
Greaney, who had been the company’s chief revenue officer, was among those promoted. The five others who joined him were:
Sudhir Verma, former chief services officer, is now chief technology officer, where he will lead a team in bringing market solutions to clarify and simplify the technology world to its customers.
Jason Parry, former collaboration practice director, is now vice president of client solutions, where he will focus on the management of the company’s certified engineers and on the strategy, vision and intellectual assets to meet the objectives of its customers.
Josh Weiner, former director of sales, is now managing director, federal intelligence, where he will lead a team in driving customized solutions catered to the specific needs of federal intelligence customers.
Marty Calambro, former director of sales, is now managing director, civilian, where he will be responsible for driving the Civilian sector growth of IT solutions in the federal marketplace and Commercial sales at the company.
Eugene Casaus, former director of sales, is now managing director, Department of Defense, where he will provide leadership for Force 3’s DOD business unit, driving the growth of customized IT solutions to suit the company’s customers’ needs.
