CenturyLink changes name of Savvis business unit

CenturyLink’s data hosting segment, previously known as Savvis, will now operate under the name CenturyLink Technology Solutions as the company combines its managed services, cloud and network offerings.

CenturyLink Technology Solutions will remain the data hosting operating segment within the company, and the company plans to continue advancing its cloud, colocation, managed services and hybrid IT operations through it.

The company is building and expanding data centers in key markets, broadening its managed application suite and innovating its cloud solutions, the company said in a release.
