Aerospace Testing Alliance has won a $23 million contract modification with the Air Force to continue supporting the Arnold Engineering Development Complex.

Aerospace Testing Alliance has won a $23 million contract modification with the Air Force to continue supporting the Arnold Engineering Development Complex.

The Arnold Engineering Development Complex is the most advanced and largest complex of flight simulation test facilities in the world, operating 43 aerodynamic and propulsion wind tunnels, rocket and turbine engine test cells, space environmental chambers, and other specialized units, according to its website.

Under the contract extension, Aerospace Testing Alliance will continue operations, maintenance, information management and support of the complex.

Work will be performed at Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2014.

No funds are obligated at the time of the award.
