BAE Systems is close to choosing its new CEO, with the decision likely to be made before the end of the calendar year, FedBiz reports.
Current CEO Linda Hudson told FedBiz that she is planning on moving into retirement by the end of January. The final decision will come from the company’s board, following by standard regulatory filings in the United Kingdom, where BAE is headquartered.
If the company decides to promote within, Tom Arseneault and David Herr, who lead the company’s product and service sectors, are likely candidates. Hudson will remain until March at the latest, helping the new CEO get prepped to lead the company, FedBiz reported.
