Leidos scores $442M contract to support government transportation security

Leidos has won a $442 million contract to support the TSA’s Government Transportation Security Equipment.

This contract was awarded under the TSA Integrated Logistics Support program.

Government Transportation Security Equipment accounts for more than 11,250 pieces of passenger screening equipment, Leidos said in a release.

Under the contract, Leidos will provide preventative, corrective and depot maintenance, integrated logistics support, IT infrastructure development and maintenance, and management of the TSA Service Response Center and support to the Security Technology Integrated Program, Leidos said.

The contract has a four-month base period and four one-year options. Work will take place at 448 airports and other facilities in the United States.

Leidos is the former Science Applications International Corp. The company changed its name when it spun off its IT and technical services business on Sept. 27.
