GDIT nabs $50M logistics contract for foreign military sales

General Dynamics Information Technology has won a $50 million contract to provide the Navy with integrated logistics services in support of technical analysis and investigation of Foreign Military Sales programs.

The Defense Department’s Foreign Military Sales program facilitates the sales of U.S. arms, defense equipment, defense services and military training to foreign governments.

Under the contract, GDIT will provide up to 600,000 hours of integrated logistics in support of FMS programs, and their technical analysis and investigation.

Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., Annandale, Va., Philadelphia, Pa., Jacksonville, Fla., Arlington, Va., Kuwait, Australia, Egypt, Japan, Malaysia and Taiwan, and is expected to be completed by November 2014.

No funds are obligated at the time of the award.
