Shutdown won’t slow $60B OASIS

While much of the government is shuttered, the beat goes on at GSA's OASIS program office with no delays expected for the $60 billion procurement.
Teams working on bids for the $60 billion OASIS contract aren’t getting any reprieve because of the government shutdown.
The General Services Administration said Monday that the shutdown will not impact the due date for proposals, which remains Oct. 10.
The OASIS program office is not included in the shutdown and will continue to operate, according to the notice.
GSA doesn’t anticipate any extensions to the due date, and all instructions remain in the same for submitting proposals.
The OASIS contract is a large, multiple-award procurement for complex professional services. It is split into two portions – a small-business segment and a segment for unrestricted competition.
