Lockheed Martin wins $20M option for Cheyenne mountain work

Lockheed Martin has won a $20 million option to continue its support of the air, space defense and missile warning missions for the North American Aerospace Defense Command Cheyenne Mountain Complex.

This is the second option under the contract, which was awarded under the Integrated Space Command and Control program.

The Integrated Space Command and Control program is the common, interoperable C2 enterprise that supports multiple missions for NORAD, U.S. Strategic Command and the U.S. Northern Command, Lockheed Martin said.

Under the option, Lockheed will continue to sustain national defense missions at multiple locations worldwide, the company said. The company has been supporting the Integrated Space Command and Control program since 2000.
