HP Enterprise Services wins $90M contract to continue state Medicaid support

HP Enterprise Services has won a $90 million contract to continue its support of the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services by modernizing its Medicaid data center.

HP Enterprise Services has won a five-year $89.9 million contract with the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services to continue as fiscal agent for the state’s Medicaid program.

HP will implement enhancements to existing state systems, including migration of Rhode Island’s Medicaid data center operations to a modernized data center, the company said in a release.

Enhancements to the office’s Medicaid Management Information System include increased information sharing across systems and departments, the company said.

HP Enterprise Services will also continue providing claims processing, provider education and outreach, call center support, and premium billing and collection services, and will manage systems and analyze data.
