Alion wins $7.5M contract mod for professional services
Alion Science and Technology has won a $7.5 million contract to provide program management, business financial management and acquisition management to the Navy.
Alion Science and Technology has won a $7.5 million contract modification with the U.S. Navy to provide professional support services.
These professional support services will go toward the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy, the Defense Department said.
Under the contract, Alion will provide program management, business financial management and acquisition management.
Work will take place in Washington, D.C., Dahlgren, Va., and Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by August 2014.
Funding in the full amount of the contract is obligated at the time of the award, of which $1.9 million will expire at the end of fiscal 2013.
