Six win contracts to support Navy initiatives

Six contractors have won contracts to provide management support services in support of three Navy initiatives.

Six companies have won contracts with the U.S. Navy to provide management support services for transformation efforts by the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, Communications Networks’ initiatives .

The winners and contract values, with options, are:

Booz Allen Hamilton -- $48.3 million
Engility Corp. -- $38 million
Gemini Industries -- $47.6 million
ManTech International Corp. -- $49.2 million
Serco -- $38 million
Whitney, Bradley & Brown -- $46 million

Under the contract, these six companies will support warfighting, manpower and business transformation initiatives.

Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 29, 2016.

The contractors are being offered a minimum guarantee of $16,666 at the time of the award, the Defense Department said. Ten bids were received for this procurement.

Funding in the amount of $99,996 is also obligated at the time of the award, and will expire at the end of fiscal 2013.
