DRC nabs $9.7M BPA with NOAA laboratory
DRC has won a three-year blanket purchase agreement with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to support one of its laboratories.
Dynamics Research Corp. has won a three-year $9.7 million blanket purchase agreement to provide the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration with high performance computing software development and technical services.
Under the agreement, DRC will provide a range of technical, scientific and management support services, including application development, high performance computing tools development, network engineering, visualization, data engineering, software optimization, analysis of climate models and strategic planning, DRC said in a release.
These services will go toward the NOAA’s Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory. The lab performs comprehensive research to increase the understanding of the physical processes that govern fluid systems of the atmosphere, oceans and Earth’s biogeochemical cycles, the company said in a release.
