Army sets up 8(a) competition for software licenses
The Army is setting up a contract for 8(a) small businesses to provide software licences and maintenance for several brand name products, including Oracle and Cisco.
The Army plans to award up to four contracts to 8(a) small businesses for software licenses and maintenance for several brand name products.
In a new request for proposals, the Army Contracting Command said it wants fixed-price contracts for licenses and maintenance agreements for Solarwinds, Oracle MySQL, Axway VA Responder and Cisco Security Manager.
The RFP said that the Army reserves the right to make one award, but will make that decision based on the price evaluations on the technically acceptable bidders.
The contracts will be evaluated using a lowest price, technically acceptable criteria.
Responses are due Aug. 2. The solicitation number is W15P7T-13-R-E042.
