Unisys wins $104M BPA for asset forfeiture program support

Unisys Corp. has won a $104 million blanket purchase agreement with the Justice Department to support the Justice Management division’s asset forfeiture systems.

The agreement has a six-month base and four option years, and the Justice Department has already awarded two task orders worth $10.5 million for the base period.

The first task order covers analysis, development and testing of applications, and the other covers operations, engineering, security and support services, Unisys said in a release.

The company will continue to partner with its subcontractor, Base2 Technologies, under the new agreement.

These forfeiture systems are managed by Justice Management division’s Asset Forfeiture Management Staff as part of the DOJ Asset Forfeiture Program, which is a nationwide law enforcement program.

Under the blanket purchase agreement, Unisys will maintain, enhance, modernize and operate the Consolidated Asset Tracking System, which holds all of the asset-related data from the time it is seized by the government to when it is forfeited and auctioned off, repurposed or returned.

The company will provide a help desk and security and systems integration service.

Unisys has served the Justice Department and its asset program since 1996.
