Unisys has won a $44 million task order with the Interior Department to move its financial and business management system to the cloud.
Unisys has won a $44 million time and materials task order with the Interior Department to move its financial and business management system to the cloud.
The task order, which has a two-year base and two three-year options, was awarded under the Interior Department’s Foundation Cloud Hosting Services task order contract, referred to as FCHS.
The task order contract itself was awarded earlier this month and is available for use by any federal government agency, Unisys said in a release.
It is meant to allow vendors to provide a number of services to agencies, including cloud storage.
The Interior Department’s financial and business management system is a mission-critical system based on SAP’s Enterprise Resource Planning software platform.
It is used across the department and its bureaus to account for all income and expenditures, Unisys said.
