SAIC taps new EVP of new Leidos business
SAIC has named John Thomas executive vice president of Leidos, the national security focused business that will be created when the company splits in two.
Science Applications International Corp. has named John Thomas executive vice president for strategic development of Leidos, the national security focused business that will be created when SAIC splits in two.
As executive vice president, Thomas will be responsible for strategy, mergers and acquisitions, communications and government legislative affairs, SAIC said in a release.
Before his promotion, Thomas was acting president for SAIC’s National Security Sector, as well as senior vice president and general manager of the company’s intelligence systems business unit.
Before SAIC, he was an active duty Army intelligence officer, retiring as a major general.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Wilkes University and a master’s degree from University of Southern California.
