SAIC appoints head of investor relations for Leidos
SAIC has named John Sweeney senior vice president of investor relations for the spin-off of Leidos.
Science Applications International Corp. has named John Sweeney senior vice president, investor relations of the company’s planned national security, health and engineering solutions company, Leidos.
Sweeney has previously served as the Investor Relations Officer for NASDAQ, Sirona Dental Systems and Weight Watchers International.
"He will work to build on existing relationships and develop new ones within the investment community, and also to provide transparent, timely and insightful information to our constituents,” said SAIC chief financial officer Mark Sopp.
He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Leidos will be spun off from SAIC later this summer.
