Cloud's steady rise not a fad
With cloud computing is steadily on the rise, it's safe to say that it's here to stay. People should accept this market shift so that they are not stranded in the abandoned market of traditional IT later, InfoWorld reported.
Cloud computing is here to stay, despite what many might think. A lot of people in the market, worried about the threat that cloud poses to traditional IT, believe that cloud computing will just be a fad.
Not so, reported InfoWorld. While these people would like to continue buying servers and building data centers, cloud computing isn’t disappearing any time soon.
In fact, it is steadily on the rise. Core applications, computing, storage and other IT services will continue to move to public clouds, InfoWorld reported, and although the migration will be slow, it will be steady.
