CenturyLink subsidiary acquires small cloud firm
In a move to bulk up the cloud capabilities of its Savvis subsidiary, CenturyLink has acquired AppFog.
CenturyLink has acquired AppFog in a move to bolster the cloud capabilities of its subsidiary, Savvis, according to OregonLive.
Founded in 2010, AppFog helps software developers build and manage websites hosted in the cloud.
CenturyLink acquired Savvis two years ago in a move to get into the cloud computing market, OregonLive reported.
