VMware plans to take their cloud to Australia
After just having opened up their cloud service in the United States, VMware has their sights set overseas, and will first open their cloud to Australia.
VMware is looking for data center capacity in Australia, after just having lifted the lid off of its cloud computing service in the United States.
Australia’s service will offer computer capacity in a VMware virtualized environment, Australian IT reported.
“It’s one of the biggest investments as a company that we will make in probably the next decade,” Australian IT quoted VMware global president and chief operating officer Carl Eschenbach as saying.
