Big data is being picked up by many different departments in organizations, and being used for many different applications, and human resources is another area ready for its benefits, according to HR Magazine.

Big data provides a big opportunity for HR teams because it allows them to understand broader business requirements and to ask the right questions, thereby allowing themselves to collect  data that can show the impact of policies and business investment, HR magazine reported.

Since HR has been collecting people data for a while, now, it’s in a good position to begin using big data—perhaps more so than other areas.
