Health IT gains a global perspective

Leaders from electronic health programs in 22 countries came together at the first Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise World Summit to share experiences and discuss the challenges of advancing patient health care in the digital era, European Hospital reported.

Panelists described programs that are currently going on in the United States, Australia, Japan, Korea and in many countries in Europe.

The summit was sponsored by the IHE-Europe and IHE International, a not-for-profit association that coordinates activities for affiliated organizations in North America, Europe and Asia, European Hospital said.
