DISA cancels sole-source data storage contract

DISA has reopened competition for a sole-source contract that calls for the development of a big data cloud service.

The Defense Information Systems Agency is going to re-open the competition on a sole-source contract for big data storage, according to GCN.

The contract calls for develoing a large data object cloud service that can store image files generated by defense intelligence sensors and systems

The agency said that it would cancel the $45 million contract it made in April to Alliance Technology Group.
