Google’s Larry Page is gathering data from people suffering from conditions that are similar to his vocal chord paralysis, hoping that this kind of crowdsourcing will help researchers come up with better ways of treating it.
Big data used in this way is also helpful for eradicating heart disease, disease epidemics, and Parkinson’s disease, the Silicon Angle reported.
