Anonymous hacker group takes on Gitmo hunger strike
Hacktivist group Anonymous has been raising awareness via the social networking world about the hunger strike protest at the Guantanamo prison camp.
Hacktivist group Anonymous has launched a massive awareness campaign across social networks to raise awareness of the hunger strike protest at the United States’ Guantanamo prison, PressTV reported.
Working under the codename “Operation Guantanamo,” Anonymous has been coming out with what they have been calling “twitterstorms, email bombs and fax bombs,” to raise awareness of the increasing tensions at the prison.
Specifically, the group wants to call attention to the abusive force-feeding that has been going on to counteract the hunger strikers, which is being done more as punishment than it is to sustain life, PressTV reported.
