3 services contracts to support naval aviation

Three companies have won contracts of varying values to support naval aviation ith professional, technical and administrative services including readiness, planning and resources and manpower.

Three companies have won three contracts of varying values to provide professional, technical and administrative support services to the U.S. Navy.

The winners and base contract values are:

Wyle Laboratories -- $29.2 million
Delta Resources -- $23.2 million
National Technologies Associates -- $22.2 million

If options are exercised, the contracts will increase in value to:

Wyle Laboratories -- $59 million
Delta Resources -- $48 million
National Technologies Associates -- $59 million

Under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts, the companies will support the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Air Warfare Division in the planning, resourcing and execution of naval aviation programs, readiness and manpower to the Navy, the Defense Department said in a release.

The three contractors will receive a combined minimum of $199,998 at time of the award, the Defense Department said.

Funds in the amount of $1.6 million will be obligated at the time of the award, and will expire before the end of fiscal 2013.
