U.S., Russia meet to discuss cybersecurity
The United States and Russia have begun discussing cybersecurity with the aim to promote cybertrust, which may result in establishing a working group on information security between the two countries.
The United States and Russia have begun discussing cybersecurity with the aim of reaching an agreement on unified cybersafety rules, The Moscow Times reported.
During a visit to Moscow on Monday, cybersecurity coordinator Michael Daniel and cyber issues coordinator Christopher Painter were to discuss achieving a mutual trust between Moscow and Washington.
The talks could lead to an intergovernmental agreement on cyber, as well as establish a working group on information security, the second of its kind in just a few weeks.
