SBA opens roadshow for women-owned businesses

SBA launches program to promote the use of women-owned companies in the federal market.

 

The Small Business Administration is going on the campaign trail to promote opportunities for women-owned contracting firms, Government Executive reported.

Called ChallengeHer, the program is a matchmaker of sorts to connect businesses in the federal supply chain, SBA Deputy Administrator Marie Johns said at a Women Impacting Public Policy event.

Stops on the ChallengeHer campaign include Phoenix, Seattle, New Orleans, Denver, Atlanta, San Francisco and New York.
