Former NASA CIO Linda Cureton opens consulting firm
Former CIO at NASA, Linda Cureton, has decided to leave the agency and start her own IT consulting and lifecycle management firm, Muse Technologies Inc.
Former NASA chief information officer, Linda Cureton, has launched a new company called Muse Technologies Inc., which will provide IT consulting, strategy planning and program management to public and private-sector organizations throughout the lifecycle of IT projects, according to an FCW report.
Muse Technologies is to perform the “entire lifecycle of transformation,” from leadership development, facilitating the creation of emergent strategies and the programmatic oversight of transformation projects, FCW quoted Cureton as saying. Cureton said that she is excited about “entering a market where so few companies support the entire lifecycle of transformation,” and that her dream is “to have an impact, change lives, and make a difference through inspired IT-enabled leadership,” she told FCW.
Muse Technologies will be headquartered in Prince George’s County, Md., and will have an executive team comprised of four corporate officers. Cureton will serve as the company’s CEO, and her husband, Doug Cureton, will also serve on the corporate leadership team. Back at NASA, Richard Keegan has been selected to continue as the agency’s chief information officer, but NASA has not named a permanent replacement, FCW reported.
