SAIC captures contract mod with Marine Corps

SAIC has won a $12.7 million contract to perform a number of operations support services to the Marine Corps.

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $12.7 million contract modification with the Navy for an option calling for operations and support services.

Under the firm-fixed-price contract, SAIC will continue its work with the Marine Corps Enterprise Information Technology Services, or MCEITS, Operations Capability and Enterprise IT Center Operational Support Services and Systems Integration Environment, according to a Defense Department announcement.

SAIC will provide management, oversight, operations and maintenance on the Marine Corps Enterprise Network, the announcement said.

Work is expected to be completed on March 27, 2017, and will be performed at three locations, including:

  • Enterprise IT Center, Kansas City, Mo.
  • Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Va.
  • Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Ga.

Contract funds will expire at the end of fiscal 2013.
