Harris gets ceiling extended by $500M for tactical communications contract

Find opportunities — and win them.

Harris has had its ceiling increased by $500 million for its contract with the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command.

Harris has won a $500 million ceiling increase to its 2011 task order contract with the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command.

The contract has Harris providing radios, accessories, systems and services to help the State and Defense departments, as well as their international partners.

The contract is part of the United States’ Foreign Military Sales program, which supports coalition building and interoperability through sales of defense equipment, training and services, Harris said in a release.

The increased ceiling expands our ability to support international customers with advanced tactical radios and integrated communications system solutions," said Dana Mehnert, group president, Harris RF Communications.
