MacB wins $31M option to provide intelligence support to Air Force special operations

MacAulay-Brown has won a $31 million contract option with the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command to support intelligence units at two Air Force locations.

The two locations are Hurlburt Field, Fla., and Cannon Air Force Base, N.M.

MacB will provide intelligence specialists to support the command in planning, integration and implementing new and existing intelligence collection, exploitation, reporting, dissemination and evaluation capabilities, the company said in a release.

“AFSOC plays a critical role in the collection and dissemination of global intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) required to support SOF operations,” said Fred Norman, vice president at MacB.

The company’s Mission Systems Group, who has provided the command with systems engineering and technical assistance support since 1996, will provide on-site support for this option.

On MacB’s team are Advanced Concepts Enterprises Inc. and Calhoun International, and both companies will provide intelligence analysts, MacB said. Advanced Concepts Enterprises is a service-disabled woman/veteran-owned small business. Calhoun International is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business.
