B3 Solutions picks new president

B3 Solutions has named its chief financial officer, Mark Schuler, president of the company. He will continue his duties as chief financial officer as president. He replaces Brenda Bearden.

“Mark Schuler will have key responsibility to oversee and implement effective growth strategies,” said William Almas, B3 CEO.

Schuler oversaw the tripling of revenues and increase of staff levels as chief financial officer, B3 Solutions said in a release.

Before B3, Schuler held various operational and financial senior executive positions at five different companies, among which were Alion Science and Technology and American Systems Corp., B3 Solutions said.

He holds an accounting degree from King’s College, and is a certified public accountant in the state of Virginia.

He is also a member of the American and Virginia Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, the National Contract Management Association and the Northern Virginia Technology Council, the company said.
