9 contractors win $750M intell training contract
Nine contractors, a mix of large and small businesses, will help the Defense Intelligence Agency with training requirements meet intelligence training requirements.
Nine contractors have won a $750 million intelligence training task order contract with the Defense Intelligence Agency. The following contractors won the five-year, multiple-award contract:
- BAE Systems Information Solutions
- Battelle Memorial Institute
- Booz Allen Hamilton
- Cyberspace Solutions LLC
- Intrepid Solutions Services Inc.
- Prescient Edge Corp.
- Science Applications International Corp.
- Six 3 Intelligence Solutions
- SRA International
They will compete for task orders for range of intelligence training requirements under the contract. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C.; Quantico, Va.; Norfolk, Va.; Fort Huachuca, Ariz.; Fort Jackson, S.C.; Willow Grove, Pa.; Oak Ridge, Tenn.; West David Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz.; and possibly other locations.
Work is expected to end on Nov. 30, 2017.
After a synopsis that was announced on Jan. 9, 2012, the Virginia Contracting Activity, which handles procurements for DIA, released an unclassified request for proposal on March 27, 2012.
Period of bidding closed May 2, 2012, with twenty-four proposals received.
