Wyle IT president resigns
Tom Anderson resigns as president of Wyle Science, Technology and Engineering Group.
Tom Anderson, who has led Wyle’s IT and systems integration business for the past two-and-a-half years, resigned this week.
Anderson took over Wyle’s Science, Technology and Engineering Group, much of which came from the RS Information Systems business that Wyle acquired, in 2010.
Previously, he had been president of Computer Sciences Corp.’s civil and health business.
A Wyle spokesman declined to comment on Anderson’s departure, other than to say it was a resignation, and that he left to pursue other interests.
Brent Bennett, an executive vice president with Wyle, has been named interim president of the group. He previously was the president of Wyle Aerospace, and joined the company in 2005. He is a retired vice admiral, and commanded the aircraft carrier the U.S.S. Nimitz from 1987 to 1989.
