SAIC wins $48M technical and management support services contract

SAIC to provide program management and engineering support services for the Naval Air Systems Command.

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $48 million task order contract to provide program management and engineering support services for the Naval Air Systems Command.

Under the single-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, the company will provide technical and management support services to the Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems division. Work will include supporting research, design, development, training and logistics.

The contract has a one-year base and two one-year options. Services to be procured include technology assessment; system engineering and system performance analyses; system test and evaluation support; system level procurement package development; training; local area network support; and operational site maintenance.

The Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems Division helps identify and track targets in combat and air traffic control environments, the company said. It provides systems design, engineering, integration, installation, training, operational support and in-service engineering for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Defense Department systems.
