Seven small contractors win $249.6M contract
Navy to receive infrastructure and application service integration support by July 2013.
Seven small businesses won a $249.6 million task-order contract from the Navy for engineering and technical services.
The winning contractors are as follow:
- Centuria Corp.
- Forward Slope Inc.
- Geocent LLC
- Global InfoTek Inc.
- KAB Laboratories Inc.
- Sentek Consulting
- X-Feds Inc.
Services will be provided for the purpose of supporting infrastructure and application service integration requirements.
Each contractor received $2,100 at the time of the award, and if all options are exercised, the contracts could reach a combined value of $249.6 million.
Also, if all options are exercised, work could continue until July 2015; otherwise, work is expected to be completed by July 2013 in the following locations:
- Charleston, S.C.
- San Diego, Calif.
- Washington, D.C
Contract funds will not expire at the end of fiscal 2012, and the contractors may compete for each task order of the awarded contract.
