CACI nabs $122M award to improve Navy, Marines command partnerships
Contract will enhance partnerships and coordination between Navy and Marine Corps.
CACI International Inc. has won a $122 million prime contract from the Naval Aviation Enterprise and Surface Warfare Enterprise.
Under the five-year contract, CACI will work with the two enterprises’ Warfare Enterprise and Readiness Metrics Support initiative to enhance partnerships and coordination between stakeholders from the Navy and Marine Corps and facilitate cooperation with other commands and resource providers, according to the August 13 announcement.
CACI will use its IT capability and project management processes to bolster areas such as training, maintenance and supply chain management and financial management, which will enhance communication and coordination across the two enterprises.
As a result of the partnership,continuous process improvement will be established and improved decision making will optimize readiness and effectiveness for the forces, generating optimal efficiency that reduces costs, the CACI announcement said.
