Women in Technology names leadership team

Nancy Lamberton to lead Women in Technology. Group names new board and leadership team for 2012-13.

Women in Technology, an organization that supports professional women in the Washington technology community, has named its 2012—2013 board and leadership team.

Nancy Lamberton, vice president, mentoring solutions, at the Nebo Co., will lead the organization this year as president.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to lead an organization that mentors and supports women in the greater Washington technology community,” said Lamberton in a WIT statement. We will continue to advocate for women in this field at all stages of their education and career.”

Among the programs WIT produces are the Girls in Technology and the Leadership Foundry, which are designed to advance women in the technology field from the classroom to the boardroom, Lamberton said.
