LMI hires new senior VP of resource management

LMI hires Catherine Nelson to serve as senior VP for it resource management unit.

LMI has hired Catherine Nelson as senior vice president for its resource management operating unit.

The unit includes financial, acquisition and resource management; information management; organizational improvement; and systems development.

She joins LMI from Booz Allen Hamilton, where she was involved in the business analytics capability practice. She also worked with strategic planning, financial management governance and operations, advanced business analytics, and audit readiness.

Nelson served as chair of Booz Allen’s integrated financial and resource management community of professionals.

In addition to these activities, she was a key leader for Booz Allen’s homeland security and law enforcement business, which focused on the Justice and Homeland Security departments.

Nelson is twice a Duke University alumnus, having achieved her bachelor’s degree in economics, and her master’s degree in business administration.

At LMI she replaces Senior Vice President Donna Bennett, who spent 35 years in public service before joining LMI in 2009. Bennett will remain with the government consulting firm as a senior advisor to CEO Nelson M. Ford.
