Dennis Reilly's mandate calls for creating federal market sales strategy to expand Gigamon’s presence in government agencies.
Gigamon, a provider of intelligent traffic visibility networking solutions, has hired Dennis Reilly as vice president of federal sales.
He’s tasked with the creation and execution of a sales strategy for the federal market that will expand Gigamon's presence across all government agencies, according to the company’s June 28 announcement.
Reilly, who brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in the federal technology sector, previously served as senior vice president of sales for Hydropoint Data Systems Inc., where he was responsible for federal agency sales accounts, including the Army, Navy, General Services Administration and the Energy and Veterans Affairs departments.
Prior to that, he held numerous senior sales roles at technology companies including Oracle, BEA Systems, PeopleSoft and Netscape.
Reilly began his career as a surface warfare officer in the Navy.
He received his undergraduate degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and earned a graduate degree from Boston University.
Silicon Valley-based Gigamon’s technology provides infrastructure architects, managers and operators with visibility into physical and virtual network traffic without affecting the performance or stability of the production environment.
