LCG Systems promotes new CIO

Promotion aligns with company’s plan for federal health IT market.

LCG Systems, a provider of secure IT solutions for government health technology, has promoted Matt Briddell to chief operating officer.

His promotion supports LCG’s growth plan and aligns the company to expand further in the federal health market space, according to a June 1 company news release.

Briddell, who has more than 15 years of experience in federal technology contracting, previously served as the company’s vice president of operations and director of technology services.

Briddell holds a masters of business administration degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Founded by Conrad Kenley in 1990, LCG Inc. provides grants management solutions to health and social services agencies. Its subsidiary LCG Systems, of Rockville, Md., was incorporated a small, disadvantaged business in 2002.

Federal customers include the National Institutes of Health, Food and Drug Administration, and the Health and Human Services Department.
