Former Booz Allen exec takes VP post at Paragon
David Gordon will lead the division delivering advanced healthcare IT solutions to government clients.
David Gordon, most recently a principal of Booz Allen Hamilton’s health market business, has joined Paragon Technology Group Inc. as vice president of its expanding healthcare IT practice.
Reporting to president and CEO Scott Friedlander, Gordon will be responsible for leading the division in delivering advanced healthcare IT solutions to government clients, according to the company’s May 14 announcement.
Gordon’s experience in management and technology consulting includes 20 years in various positions at Booz Allen, other things leading the organization's IT support to the National Institutes of Health in systems development and integration, IT operations and software acquisition support for CIOs.
Friedlander, who left a similar post at GTSI in the wake of a Small Business Administration suspension in 2010, acquired a majority stake in the Vienna, Va., government contractor this past January with the backing of the private equity group LLR Partners.
The McLean Group investment bank served as an advisor to Paragon.
