Sevatec aids State Department's information dissemination
Contracted services include program management, software application development, operations and maintenance.
Sevatec Inc., a small government management and technology consulting company, has won a five-year, $30 million content management services contract from the State Department.
The award calls for the Falls Church, Va.-based, 8(a) company to assist the State Dept.’s Bureau of International Information Programs’ Office of Content Support Services, according to a March 29 company announcement.
Sevatec will provide a wide range of technical and operational services necessary to support information outreach to U.S. embassies in more than 140 countries as well as the dissemination of critical information U.S. citizens need during emergencies.
Support services include program management, software application development, operations and maintenance, metrics and reporting, customer service, help-desk services and training support for more than 400 public websites, 600 production sites, and more than 1200 end-users.
The Sevatec team includes subcontractor Computer Technologies Consultants.
