Experts predict 7.5 percent growth in federal health IT

A recent GovWin IQ study predicted that federal outlays on health IT will reach $6.5 billion by 2016, representing an annual compound growth rate of 7.5 percent since 2011. By contrast, government spending on IT in general for the same five-year period is excepted to fall by 1.8 percent.
