FOSE 2012 will have a new format
FOSE will provide more opportunities for professionals to learn about the topics that matter to them.
FOSE 2012 will debut a new format this year featuring five conferences, each with a two-track focus on technology and policy management, as well as year-long educational opportunities.
The three-day event , April 3-5, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., will highlight the latest government IT trends, challenges, and policies for government technology and policy professionals, according to 1105 Media Government Events Group.
More than 250 exhibitors will showcase the latest in government technology.
Attendees will get the opportunity to delve into the areas of cybersecurity, cloud and virtualization, mobile government, defense innovations, and records and information management during FOSE 2012’s five conferences.
After the April event, separate, topical-focused conferences in each of these five areas will be held throughout 2012 to provide additional learning options for the FOSE audience.
"FOSE prides itself in delivering a conference program that not only focuses on the present challenges facing government IT professionals, but also tackles the emerging issues that confront the larger public sector community," said Daniel McKinnon, vice president of Government Events for 1105 Media Inc., in the Jan. 31 announcement.
Washington Technology and FOSE are components of 1105 Media Inc.
